1. Acceptance of terms
By accessing or using Lakrome services, including booking and travel, you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions and our Privacy Policy.
2. Bookings and tickets
- All bookings are subject to availability and confirmation of payment.
- Digital tickets will be sent via SMS and/or email with your booking details.
- You must present a valid booking reference or ticket at boarding.
3. Prices and payments
- Prices are displayed in TZS and may change without prior notice.
- Payments must be made using accepted methods on the website or at the station.
- If a payment fails, no funds should be deducted. If charged without a ticket, contact support.
4. Cancellations, changes, and refunds
- No-shows and missed buses are generally non-refundable.
- Changes may be possible subject to availability and operator policies.
- Where refunds apply, processing times may vary depending on the payment provider.
5. Luggage and prohibited items
- Standard allowance: 1 large bag + 1 carry-on per passenger.
- Oversized, excessive, or hazardous items may be refused or charged extra.
- Valuables should be kept with you; Lakrome is not responsible for lost unattended items.
6. Passenger conduct and safety
- Follow staff instructions and safety rules at all times.
- Disruptive, unsafe, or unlawful behavior may result in refusal of service.
- Alcohol and illegal substances are prohibited on board.
7. Schedule changes and disruptions
- Delays, route changes, or cancellations may occur due to operational or safety reasons.
- You will be notified via SMS or phone where possible.
8. Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Lakrome is not liable for indirect or consequential losses, including missed connections or lost profits. Our liability is limited to the amount paid for the affected service, where applicable.
9. Privacy
Your use of our services is also governed by our Privacy Policy.
10. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the United Republic of Tanzania. Disputes shall be subject to the jurisdiction of competent courts in Tanzania.
